What’s New!

Hello everyone! I’ve been thinking about what I wanted to do with this site for a little while now. I still wanted a website, but the original purpose of keeping this site up as an online shop just wasn’t realistic - it’s hard enough to balance my personal and work life as it is! I decided to turn my site into a personal site instead.

It’s pretty timely since I recently uninstalled the Instagram app. I can still use Instagram from my computer to check messages and notifications, but that’s pretty much all I do there now. Instagram hasn’t been fun for a few years now - it’s pretty much impossible to see what my friends are up to, but I can sure tell you what Reels are trending. I think we’re forgetting the social part of social media. :) I’m still active on Discord, though, especially on the DFW doll server.

I always wanted to run a doll blog, but the blogging scene stopped being active in the US around the time I got my first BJD. Lucky me, right? It’s still really active in Japan, and I keep up with a lot of the Japanese doll artists and collectors I followed on Instagram that way. It’d be nice if the blogging scene picked up again in the west, too. It’s hard to personalize social media, and even harder to see what you actually want to see. I think hashtags might still be broken! In the next few days, I’ll add a links out page to the site, so you can all check out the awesome doll blogs that are still being updated. :)

You’ll find a new My Crew page, where you can see my lovely BJDs. I have lots of other dolls, too, but it’d take forever to photograph them! I’m also working on updating my gallery page as well, so that should be making a comeback soon, too.
