Back from Japan: Round Two!
I just got back from Japan — again! This time I was in Kyoto for about a week for a friend’s wedding. Look how amazing the food was!! ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
While I was there, I got some doll shopping done in Osaka. First up, my Kaka Planet haul. ＼(￣▽￣)／
The #1 thing on my shopping list was a wig for my Momonita. She was not about to leave the country bald still. Thankfully, I found her a super cute wig at my first stop! Look how nicely it suits her.
Kaka Planet mainly specializes in imports from China and also carries consignment items from indie creators, too. They have a Akiba, Nagoya, and Osaka locations. I highly recommend stopping by one of the stores in person, but you can also buy from them online at Booth. If you need wigs, they’ve got you covered. There’s a whole wall of them upstairs!
I also got two more wigs for my Noble Dolls girls. My little hack when you want to spice up your collection is to just buy a new wig instead of buying a new doll. Look how different my Rivanone looks in this long wig!
I also got this short wig. This one I have in mind for my second Raspberry, but she’s currently off for a new faceup. (っ˘ω˘ς )
Of course, I couldn’t leave without some outfits! I bought some cute sets from Melody.C, 木茶Zoo, and RosenliaDoll.
The RosenliaDoll outfit was so cute that I just had to try it on my Baby Kumako. ( ´ ▽ ` )
I swung by Denden Town after to stop by Volks and Azone. The selection in this Volks is great. They actually still had some of the one-off dolls left in stock, too! I picked up two metal stands and three outfits from Volks.
I also picked up a lingerie set from an indie creator, Atelier Yosuga. A few of the Volks stores have items on consignment! If you have the time, it’s worth stopping by the different Volks stores to see what creators they carry.
This was the third outfit I bought from Volks. I was crossing my fingers that it was still in stock since it was from the February release, and it was! ☆ ～('▽^人) I was so excited that I just had to put it on her.
I was pretty well behaved at the Azone store this time! I was looking for a few specific items. Some of them weren’t in stock, but this cute little athletic set was! It suits her so well and matches the wig, too! I’m so happy my Momonita is coming together. Now I just need to figure out what shoes fit her. (￣ω￣)
